Program for Korea

It was decided that in addition to the proposed renewal of vows on May 8th,we will together make a public renewal on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of our newest community, the retreat house of Our Lady of Good Counsel, in the Diocese of Ui-Jeong-bu on May 16th in the presence of the bishop, other religious and the faithful.
We will also have a combined retreat in June with all our formation community which will include themes from the year of consecrated life and the OSAAP Augustinian Renewal.

Program for Asia-Pacific

With regards to the Renewal Program in Asia-Pacific (AP), the leaders in Indonesia meeting with Tony Banks and agreed to proceed with the program for the next three years (2014-2017). The renewal program is based on Pope Francis' Evangelii Gaudium (EG). There will be three chapters of renewal (CoR) every year. For 2015 - CoR 1: Evangelization and Mission; CoR 2: Community/Relationship with Christ; CoR 3: Community and Mission. These themes are based on the 7 challenges from Pope Francis, from Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay, NSW, Australia, distributed to us by Tony Banks in Novaliches meeting as we plan for next step of renewal. For Province/Circumsciption Gathering the theme in AP will be Mission, Memory and Eucharist, again based from EG 11-13.

Program for India

There is a joint program of the Archdiocese of Verapoly with all the religious of the region of Kochi; and the Delegation of India is committed to collaborate with them actively. The schedule of program is expected soon.
Meanwhile the Delegation of India, by itself, is planning a gathering of the whole Augustinian family in India with courses and presence of experts in Augustinian and religious life (date to be fixed, probably April- May)
 
The Brothers in formation houses have also their own particular program and the theme is: witnessing the religious life.
 

- On 26th January, the professed have volunteered in cleaning the surroundings of a nearby public hospital for the poor. They also periodically make visits and help them in their basic needs.
- For the Lenten season, the savings from the fasting and abstinence are programmed to donate for the construction of a small house in favour of a poor family. They are working on other fund raising possibilities and are going to collaborate with the project with manual work too.
