Centers of Spirituality: South America
In Latin America, Augustinian spirituality has played a prominent role in the spiritual and religious life of the region. The Augustinians, a Catholic religious order, established themselves in Latin America during the colonial period, primarily through missions and the establishment of monasteries and schools.
